In the religion systems around the world there are special seasons or events where different kind of subjects are celebrated. In many natural-belief based religions there are several different celebration dates called sabbaths which take place in certain points of the year following the yearly circulation.
In Wicca, as well as in many other natural belief-systems, eight seasonal sabbaths are celebrated around the year. These sabbaths both form the important part of the religion as well have special connection points to the beliefs in the witchcraft. These sabbaths have originated both from the celtic world and have also roots in the early germanic culture.
