Description
Artemis is a daughter of Leto and Zeos, a twin-sister of the Apollo. She is described as a crescent above her head and also many times known with name Selene (moon goddess).
Artemis is one the leaders of the mount olympus and a virgin goddess. She wandered in the forests and unknown lands with her nymfs hunting for lions and panthers. In latter stories she protected same animals.
It is told, that when she was three, she asked from his father Zeus for eternal virginity, which Zeus granted to her and to her companions. Artemis is the goddess of sexuality and punished all men who tried to take it from her.
