Description
Book of Shadows is next to Athame the most important and sacred items of a witch. It's diary, it's a spell book, it's a rite book and in principle, it's memo and source of all creative knowledge and things witch has learned.
Book of Shadows can represent itself in many different kind, but mostly it's hand written and sacred black-covered book.
Many different witch circles dispute what Book of Shadows shoud contain. According to old traditions, student was to copy the content's of his or hers teacher to his book during time, as some of the modern witches consider that everyone can create their own book of shadows.
Main thing is, that it is not for common reading, but every spell it has is as personal to a witch as the book itself.
