1. Clensing ownself


Although clensing is often considered as a psyhical action, it's meaning is to shake off all the troubles in life and things bothering one's mind.

Important part of the clensing is bathing and oiling your body, but as a performing a ritual calls for calm peace of mind, meditation and other kind of body, mind and spirit is also necessary.

2. Clensing a ritual area


When performing a open air ritual, clensing of the space is not so necessary, but inside a aparments it's needed. Lock the doors and windows, disconnect your phones and draw curtains front of your window before the ritual. Clean the floor by vacuumin or by mop, and after this "clean" it with a broom.

Broom's hair does not have to touch the floor, but sweep switly and visualize broom taking away all negativity, evil and spiritual garbage.

Sacred space can be also clensed by sprinkling salt or combination of the salt and herbs over it. Also burning a incense affects as a clensing method for a sacred place (rosemary, thyme, sage)

In open air rituals all is needed is a light sweep with the broom.

3. Creating a sacred space


Some wiccans define their ritual space by small circle which is formed of different things scattered around in to the shape of a circle: Herbal powder, smashed colorful minerals, sand and salt. Used substance is scattered around same time as circle is rotated clockwise.

4. Calling divinities with spells


Summoning goddess or god does not always require a ritual. You can pratice it daily. Most rituals begin with a spell, and if you summon goddess and god with love and sincere, you rituals will be success and blessed.

5. Rites (in sabbaths and esbats)


When performing a sabbath and esbath-festives, rituals come straight after a spells. In this content, is good to remind, that wicca is religion of peace and happiness, where even laugh is not forbidden. Laughing has it's own purpose in rites and spells.

Laughter creates a powerful, proctive energy around you, which through negatives energies cannot penetrate. You don't have to be gloom and serious when performing rites.

6. Raising an energy (in spells)


For spell to success, you need to have precise and real need what you have committed to in emonational level. Mostly simplies spells are most efficients. As a pinpoints of energy you can use colorful candles, oils and herbs. Precense of goddess and god are asked to help performing a task.

7. Earthing a power


Earthing is recommed doing before ending a rite. When you have sent power, it's remains can leave bouncing around inside you and the circle. Thus, you must earth the powers so they may return into your power scope.

In this phase consists often enjoying food and drink, which helps us to go off from the exotic state. Before starting a meal, give a small sacrificial gift to goddess or god (crumbs of biscuits, ounch of liquid etc).

Other way earth yourself is to taste a piece of salt to scatter it around the circle.

8. Thanking divinites


Thanking gods or goddesses can be performed specified gestures, songs or music. Thank them for participating and being in circle and attention they gave to you, and ask them to come again.

9. Dissolving a circle


If you created circle by visualizing yourself and the alter around an energy vortex, it is breaked by thanking the rulers for joining the ritual. After this, go standing in the front of the alter, straighten out your hand and visualize, that you suck all the energy into you which formed the circle.

Feel like the energy sinks back into your palm and through that into your body. You can also use athame to "cut" the circle. Visualize energy flowing to the blade and the handle of the knife.
