Magic to success, you also need knowledge. Magic is easier to aim to it's target if you know exactly what you wish to happen and how. There are things in magic, where you should be extremely careful such as asking for money, healing and relationships.
One of the most important coverage in magic is protection. First you must know is the threat real. A threat one experiences does not always base on real facts, but if one experiences it and believes in it, it can be interfered.
The rules of the magician are: Know, want, dare and be silent. Knowing means you define precisely what do you want to obtain and consider all possible consequences. Wanting means that all mind power has been taken into use with balance of the elements and divine powers. Daring means that you must carry out your though in practice and believe in your own magic.
Even a small suspicion can weaken your will. Silencing means that you don't speak of the magic you perform, because other people can water down the energy needed in magic if they don't approve what you do. And if you talk about magic you disturbe your own energy. Also silencing you protect your own privacy.
If a magic fails, there can be many explenations. One is, that there was no precise goal or it could not be defined, or one engaged in magic does not believe in it's power or justification as well as sometimes magic does not work just because some people are not ment to happen.
