Herb description
Controls excretion of phlegm. Exterminates viruses, funguses and parasites, eases convulsion, activates kidney. Good herb for convalescents, and helps eg. with chronic exhaustion (activating affect to psyche), used eg. for making alcohol and incences, and vetenirary medicine elecampane is used for example to help with horses skin infections (for humans, elecampane should never be used exept for small, local places, and under special control!). It can ease cough. Includes insulin and so it’s good for diabetics. Root with sugar have been used as candy and to help with problems in chest. It was also believed that elecampane could help with diseases caused by nasty fairys.
