Anise hyssop is an old flavoring herb, it's especially good with sweet pastry and jams, etc. It both tastes and smells of anise.
It's medical use is minor, but it does settle the digestion system and, like true anise, it helps to relieve cough and flue symptoms.
If pregnant, using anise hyssop should be limited.
