I am also learning quite a bit about it myself. My whole family rejected anything but Christianity. In the Christian world, Paganism is considered evil and satanic. All Christians are urged to stay away from Pagans for fear of "corrupting the soul." As I am naturally an open minded person, I've been looking into a lot of different things and I have found that the things we've always been told about Paganism is not always true. There may be some evil spirits out there, but there are those that are good. Just this year, (which is in itself ironic, because 13 is a lucky number for me) I have opened my mind completely. I have found that I hate the idea of anyone PUSHing one towards what they believe (for instance, Christians) and not being accepting, only judgmental towards something that is not understood to them. I have found that I am somehow very DRAWN to the idea of this whole new world. There is so much to learn and it's so wonderful and interesting. I also have found that a lot of the things that I personally have done, outside of my family's religion, is very similar to that of the Pagans and Wiccans. My current boyfriend is a Pagan and I am learning every little bit that I can. You could say that I am "drinking in" all the information that I gather subtly and openly. It is so special and wonderful to have all of this in my life. I myself feel blessed to have this opportunity. Hi Voodolly, I also had women family members who were gifted. But they all have died. I have some of their blood too. I love herbs and working with them. I sometimes have dreams that do come true. My husband does not think I am nuts. He believes in me. He has had first in knowledge of things that I have done or said to him. He is very supportive. Other than him I do not say anything to anyone else.

Hey, I'm new to this site. I'm a solitary traditional witch with roots in both scotland and germany. I'm also interested in voodoo amongst other things, I like to learn about everything and take some of what I feel works for me and put it into my own craft.
My great grandmother was a gypsy who lived in Scotland, she read tea leafs, my mother also was a witch with the sight. Two major things that run in my family, the sight and divination amongst other things. I have both, I'm also an empath which can be overbearing sometimes. Right now I'm studying the tarots and I'm going to study to be a herbalist. I'm also a Scorpio with moon in Aries and rising Aquarius. I love collecting things like stones and crystals, old bells and nails, whatever looks interesting and odd. And that's me in short haha.
