I've never been a part of a social network directed at Wiccan/Paganism/etc., so...well, here goes!

I'm a solitary practitioner in Portland, Oregon. I'm sure I could find others in this city if I was super keen on the idea, but I am moving back to Idaho in August. I am dating, no kids, and I have a cockatiel named Larry Bird who is my whole world at the moment. I have no particular Tradition or Path I am following, I am forging my way by touch and what feels right for me. This tends to be more nature-based, with a heavier focus on connection with nature than on spell-casting and so on.
A lot of this is just a rerun of the biographical info on my profile, but it's easier to see the words here than to seek out my profile! I am very open, and I love talking to new people! I very much look forward to being a part of this online community! 😀

Hey, my name is Alyssa. I'm new to this site and have been interested in Wicca/witchcraft/Paganism since I was thirteen. Right now, I am almost eighteen years-old and have recently moved to Temecula, California from Texas. I was raised in a mostly Mormon/Christian family and haven't come out of the "broom closet," yet. If ever. Only a select few no about my interest and even they don't know the overall extent of my interest.

Because of this lack of interaction with other people who are experienced/adept at what I'm interested in, I consider myself a solitary practitioner. I'm looking for other people who are experienced so that they may guide me and offer sound advice that I'm unable to currently find. Also, anyone who just wants to talk and discuss different things -- I'm all for it.

So, message me or whatnot. I'm open to all kinds of things and I love to discuss different topics. I'm also looking for guidance, so don't think it's intruding -- Any advice helps. Book recommendations are welcome, too! I'm always looking for more to read.

I am Maykitten and I am new to this world yet have been having dreams that come true all my life. I am a strong empathy. I am 52 and have lived all my life under Christian beliefs. Learning the Wicca way is like a breath of fresh air or a cleansing drink of water. I feel empowered with the freedom to learn and reach out to the energies around me.
I am joining a small coven where I live and will be meeting with them. I want to learn healing with natural herbs and the energy that is abundant around me.
